A campaign to collect signatures from the public to a petition prepared by a non-governmental organization (NGO) demanding the repeal of the Prevention of Terrorism Act and to stop the suppression of the right to freedom of expression was launched in front of the Galle Karapitiya Teaching Hospital (KTH) last saturday (17).
Tamil National Alliance MPs M.A.Sumanthiran and Shanakiya Rasamanickam and former UNP Baddegama organizer Ananda Abeywickrama were also present.
